The trade union country-by-country profiles on climate and energy have been produced as a tool for trade unions and other actors to engage in a process with their national governments to promote the recognition of social and employment factors within measures to address climate change and energy issues, throughout the world.

The additional purpose of these profiles is to develop a baseline of information for trade unions and other actors to identify workplace targets and programmes for the implementation of climate and other objectives.
